we are seeking an order-of-magnitude cost estimate and technical specifications  for chipping equipment for resizing of forest residues ahead of a fluidized bed gasification process, to reduce particle size to less than 40 mm. Project Overview: The chipper is to be integrated into a pretreatment train for which the base case design capacity is 1500 bonne-dry tonnes per day (bdt/day) of forest residues having up to 50% moisture content. We are also considering capacities of 500, 1000, and 3000 bdt/d. The overall pretreatment system for the forest residuals includes chipping at roadside, transportation to the site, and inventory management before drying and gasification.
